Online Harassment’ series.

Pakistan who will be speaking about the Cyber Harassment Helpline they
launched last year. The webinar will start off with a presentation and
then we will open up the floor for Q&A.

When: Monday October 9th, 4pm CET

Who: Nighat Dad is the Director of Digital Rights Foundation. Besides
being called an ‘over’ feminist, Nighat is the flag-bearer of digital
rights activism in Pakistan. She believes in taking a step to make a
change, rather than taking a pen to plan a campaign. Nighat has already
bagged several international and national awards and recognition to her
name, like being listed as TIME Magazine’s Next-Gen Leader in 2015,
awarded Atlantic Council Freedom Award and Human Rights Tulip Award in
2016, and recently won hearts at the TED Global stage, for her work to
preserve digital rights and freedom in Pakistan. The DRF team calls her
the powerhouse of the family who always supports others around her and
never leaves a chance to troll the trolls online.

December 2016, it provides digital security support, legal advice and
psychological services to victims of online harassment through its

Future Speakers
We are very excited to have future speakers from different regions and
context. If you have any suggestions for speakers on this subject, please contact us!

The webinar series ‘How we fight Harassment’ is a joint initiative of
Sanne and Dalia. The webinars are organized to highlight different
projects focusing on response to Online Harassment. From creative public
campaigns, to alliances with lawyers and feminists bots: there are so
many inspiring initiatives, and so little opportunity to share
experiences, tactics and strategies. This webinar is an effort to create
a space for linking and the huge diversity of initiatives and learn from
and inspire each other.
