The panel introduced the work of the Computer Incident Response Center for Civil Society (CiviCERT), sharing information about why and how it came to be, how it works, and how it can provide support to civil society organizations, human rights defenders, activists, and journalists facing and experiencing digital security threats.
A diverse group of CiviCERT members working in different regions and contexts shares information about their own unique experience as members of the network, also providing suitably anonymized case studies to better describe how they serve their beneficiaries.
